Our corporate social responsibility is integrated in 
the business. It is part of our philosophy and part
of our passion. All our products are made in Africa.

All teak used for LittlePeopleCompany’s product
range is FSC approved (www.fsc.org). We ardently
promote the use of “waste” or “by-product” of all
wooden materials. 

We think it is "cool to care", thus we try and minimise
the use of packaging on our products. We 
prefer recyclable corrugated paper to plastic, but 
occasionally, you will receive a product in wrapped in
plastic.
 

We endeavour to promote skills development and
labour empowerment. There is a strong consideration
for disadvantaged labour groups, especially women in
the rural communities. 

Our cane is collected in the community, where a fair
trade price is being paid to suppliers of the special
cane, needed to produce our furniture. 

All our paints are lead free and produced under environ-
mentally friendly production in Southern Africa.
